You may already know that Bright Horizons can be a go-to resource for back-up child and elder care. They have licensed child care centers and in-home providers available to help, 24/7. But did you know that they can also help with homework and with family members with special needs?

More Than Just Back-Up Care

Spring break doesn’t mean a break in child or elder care. In fact, it could lead to more gaps in care coverage, especially during the pandemic. These enhanced benefits may provide the extra support you need.

  • Back-up care copays waived for any care provided by Bright Horizons between March 1, 2021, and April 31, 2021. You can use back-up care seven times per family member, per year. The call center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and reservations can be made 30 days in advance, up to the day you need care.
  • Crisis-care reimbursement (up to $100 per day) for care provided through your own personal network (a relative, neighbor, friend, or babysitter). Through your Bright Horizons account, just select Request Reimbursement on the home screen of the back-up care site. You can also visit the Bright Horizons site for more information about how to submit a Crisis Care reservation request.
  • Wait-list priority at Bright Horizons centers nationwide, and exclusive discounts at our network partner centers.
  • Free access ($150 value) to Sittercity’s database of sitters, virtual sitting, pet care and housekeepers. Or find a trained, screened nanny through a personalized, discounted local placement service ($300 discount on placement fee and 10% off hourly rates).

Education and Homework Help

With your Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports™ benefit, you have access to exclusive discounts on tutoring, test prep and enrichment courses, as well as virtual and in-home learning pods from Sittercity. You can also get 20% off hourly rates for private or small-group academic support from Varsity Tutors and Revolution Prep, and discounts on memberships with MarcoPolo Learning, a learning app for preschoolers.
