Eligibility for Benefits
All Hitachi Vantara regular full-time active employees who work 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits on your date of hire.
Enrolling in Benefits
Hitachi Vantara new hires: Once you receive an email from Hitachi Benefits Direct with all of the details — usually a few days after you start work — you can enroll. Be sure to enroll within 31 days of your hire date. Once your new hire enrollment passes, you’ll have to wait until Open Enrollment, typically held in the fall, to make changes to your benefits, unless you have a qualifying life event.
Hitachi Consulting new hires: Enroll, and confirm your elections at the Hitachi Benefit Pool website. As a first-time user, you'll need to register to set up your username, password and security questions. The company key is “hitachi” (note: it is case sensitive). Then, click Start Here, and follow the instructions to enroll in your benefits or waive coverage.
