May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and your Hitachi benefits include numerous resources to care for your mental health. Reacquaint yourself with the following benefits programs and resources:
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides 24/7, confidential counseling at no cost to you. Whether you are facing emotional, financial, legal or other stress, the EAP can support you. They can provide short-term counseling, work-life solutions, legal support, answers to financial questions and online resources on thousands of topics. Use Web ID Hitachi when visiting online.
- Included Health can help you and your family members find the confidential mental health support that’s the right fit for you. Their LGBTQ+-led care team can match you with supportive, inclusive mental health providers who can help with medication management, therapy and more.
- Hitachi medical plans provide mental health coverage, and you can access a range of providers within the network, including virtual behavior health therapy and board-certified psychiatrists.
- Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) are employees who are MHFA certified and offer a vital resource for support and understanding. MFHAs are trained in listening to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. They provide a compassionate ear and support when you need it. Whether it’s a challenging day or a more serious concern, MHFAs offer you reassurance and assistance.
- Hitachi’s Health and Wellness page on the internal site for information about recorded webinars on stress, and sleep; building mindfulness and meditation through Tai Chi; financial well-being webinars; and much more.
